Lunch Box Checklist

Hello, I missed you. I am just back from a long summer away and unplugged. And I love how ‘back to’ feels— newness, change, inspiration. We have an amazing lineup to keep you (and your family) healthy, excited and inspired transitioning into fall .I hear you, jumping back into routine again is rough. As requested use my lunchbox checklist to kick the lunch slump.

PACK ONLY WHOLE GRAINS

Pack 100% whole grain bread and pastas (read the packages), quinoa and brown rice.

FRUIT AND VEGGIE

Include both. Fiber keeps them satiated and focussed.

HIGH QUALITY PROTEINS

Lay off the nitrate-laden processed sandwich meats. Hit the bean spreads, organic cheeses and meats, hemp seeds.

NO REFINED SUGARS

Keep packaged crackers, cookies out. Loads of snack ideas at Nourished.ca. Recipes calling for nuts can be replaced with super seeds like chia and hemp instead.How are you getting back to it?
